Who We Support

FlexiSIGN Studio supports different types of sign, print and graphics businesses across South Africa. Design and RIP software can be matched to each working environment.

Who We Support

Choosing software for the way your shop actually works

Every shop runs differently. Some teams produce one-off vehicle graphics, others handle full print runs, and many do a mix of cutting, printing and finishing in the same day. The right software depends on your machines, your turnaround times and how many people need to use it. That is why our support starts with your workflow, not a one-size-fits-all package.

If you are based in Randburg, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Midrand or Centurion, we help you decide what fits the job at hand. We look at file handling, cutter output, RIP queues, colour control and how your staff will learn the system. That keeps the setup practical, especially when load-shedding or tight deadlines put pressure on production.

  • Vinyl cutting and decal production
  • Large-format print and contour cutting
  • Sign shops with mixed staff skill levels
  • Busy print rooms that need queue control
  • New businesses getting their first cutter or printer

Sign shops that need clean cutting and fast turnaround

Sign makers need software that keeps artwork tidy, sends correct cut paths and reduces waste. When a cutter is misreading line work or a file is not prepared properly, time and vinyl go out the window. We support shops that need better cutter setup, cleaner output and fewer hold ups during production.

Our team can assist with licence activation, remote support and onsite training where needed. In coastal towns like Durban and Gqeberha, humidity can affect media handling and storage, so we also help shops keep their workflow steady when materials behave differently from inland jobs.

  • Cutter setup help for new and existing machines
  • Workflow setup for faster artwork to output handover
  • RIP queue optimising for print and cut jobs
  • Upgrade planning when older software starts slowing the team down

Print service providers working under pressure

Print providers often deal with multiple files, multiple operators and several deadlines in one shift. A good RIP setup helps manage colour, output order and media settings without confusion. We support teams that need reliable production flow, whether they are printing small runs, signage panels or larger promotional work.

For these users, colour management matters a lot. A slight mismatch between screen and print can lead to reprints and client complaints. We help set up practical colour workflows so jobs come out consistently across different printers and media types. That is useful for shops serving corporate clients, schools and municipal work where repeatability is important.

Designers who need artwork ready for production

Graphic designers working with sign and print output need more than design skills. They also need artwork that is prepared correctly for cutting, contouring and RIP processing. We support designers who hand files over to production teams, as well as those who do their own output in-house.

Training covers the day-to-day parts that matter most: setting up files, using the right colour values, checking line thickness and making sure artwork behaves properly once it reaches the cutter or printer. It saves time later, and avoids those calls where a job is almost ready but not quite.

  • New staff induction for production basics
  • Colour workflow guidance for designers and operators
  • Support for mixed Adobe and production workflows
  • Practical training for in-house creative teams

Training for new teams and growing businesses

When a shop hires new people, the software often gets used in different ways by different operators. That can lead to inconsistent output and avoidable mistakes. Our training is built for the South African sign and print environment, where teams often need to learn quickly and keep working at the same time.

We offer Randburg class training, onsite sessions and remote support depending on what is easier for your operation. If your team is in Pretoria, Midrand or Centurion, a scheduled visit may suit you. If you are further away, we can still help with remote setup and practical follow-up support. We keep the focus on what your team needs to do on the floor, not on theory alone.

How to decide which support path suits you

Start with your main output. If you cut vinyl every day, focus on cutter setup and clean file preparation. If you print in batches, look at RIP queue control and colour management. If your team is growing, add new staff induction and an annual support plan so the setup stays consistent as people change.

You can also choose based on where you are located and how fast you need help. Our Randburg base supports the wider Gauteng area and beyond, with Johannesburg support, Pretoria training, Durban support, Cape Town training and Gqeberha support available through arranged services. For many clients, the best path is a mix of remote help, scheduled visits and training that suits the shop hours.

  • One-off setup support for a new machine
  • Ongoing help for a busy production room
  • Training for staff who change roles often
  • Annual support plan for steady year-round use

Questions we get asked

Do you support both small sign shops and larger print rooms?

Yes. We work with one-person shops, growing sign businesses and larger print teams. The setup is matched to your machines, your staff and the kind of jobs you produce every week.

Can you help if our cutter or RIP setup is already in place?

Yes. We can help with licence activation, workflow tuning, cutter setup help and RIP queue optimising even if the software is already installed. Sometimes a small change makes the biggest difference.

Do you only support clients near Randburg?

No. Randburg is our base, but we support businesses across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha. Remote support and arranged onsite visits are both available.
