What working here looks like
We are a South African team that deals with real production issues, licence activation, cutter setup, colour management and RIP queue problems, often while a client is trying to finish an urgent job before knock-off. That means we value clear communication, steady follow-through and people who can explain technical steps without making the client feel lost.
Our work touches sign-making design and RIP software, training, support and installation. Some days are about helping a new operator get going, other days are about sorting workflow after a power cut or advising a print shop on output settings for different media in humid coastal conditions.
Roles we usually hire for
We regularly look for people with experience in software support, print workflows, training, installation and colour control. Depending on the workload, we may need people who can work from Randburg, visit clients in Gauteng, or support teams across the country remotely.
- Software support and licence activation
- Onsite installation and setup
- Training for sign shops and print teams
- Colour workflow and RIP configuration
- Customer support and follow-up
The kind of person who fits in
We prefer people who can stay calm when a job is urgent, ask the right questions and document what they have done so the next technician is not guessing. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be willing to learn, take instruction and work neatly.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Comfort with technical software and production environments
- Willingness to travel when needed
- Basic admin discipline and attention to detail
- Respect for client time and site rules
How we support new team members
We believe good staff need proper onboarding, not a rushed handover and a lot of hoping for the best. New team members are shown our support process, common setup steps, training methods and the way we handle colour, cutters and RIP queues for different types of clients.
We also make room for practical learning because sign production can vary from one shop to the next. A team member working in Johannesburg may face different turnaround pressure than one helping a coastal print service provider in Durban or Cape Town, so local realities matter.
Our working areas and client mix
Because our customers are spread across South Africa, we need people who can handle a mix of office work, remote support and site visits. Some days are local to Randburg, Midrand or Centurion. Other times the work stretches to Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town or Gqeberha, depending on training schedules and support needs.
Our clients include sign makers, vinyl cutter operators, graphic designers and print service providers. That means the work is varied, and it often involves helping a client with a new machine, an upgrade plan or staff induction for a busy production team.
How to apply
If you want to be considered for future opportunities, send your CV through the enquiry form on our contact page and tell us what type of role you are looking for. Mention your experience with software installation, training, RIP setup, support or colour management if relevant.
Please include your location, whether you are open to travel, and a short note on the type of print or sign work you have handled before. We review applications as they come in and get in touch when there is a suitable match.
